Here Comes Peter Cottontail...

The Easter bunny and a few of his pals dropped by to visit Fairytree Photography early this year. The kids had loads of fun playing with Anjou, Cupcake, Jessica Rabbit, Peter Rabbit, and Delilah the goat. It was an amazing day filled with the laughter of happy kids. While Bunny Day got off to quite the rocky start it was well worth it in the end. Happy Easter Everyone from Fairytree Photography enjoy our favorite pictures from the session and we look forward to seeing you next year when Bunny Day swings around again.
I love the look of wonderment on this little girl's face as she looks at the bunny in her brother's lap.

The bunnies look perfectly happy to just sit here in this picture, seconds later I had bunnies all over my house.

Delilah was the most friendly goat I have seen, she was like a puppy dog, even her stubby little tail wagged when you petted her. She was a delight to have.

Our cute little bunny models got to play with a whole family of cousins, here's a set of sisters right here.

Outside everyone wanted a picture with Delilah, even if they were a little unsure of what to make of her.

Little Emily's First Easter

So a little while back little Emily came to visit me again. It was really nifty to see how much she had grown since her newborn session with us almost 5 months earlier! These pictures were for her very first Easter! And we had a blast trying out a few new props and things with her.  Emily really was a dream to work with even though she got a little fussy at times. Thankfully we discovered she loved the sound of my husband's rainsticks. I'll have to file that little tidbit away for future use. Enjoy these adorable pictures, and come back the week of Easter to see some of our favorites from our first Annual Bunny Day!
My alltime favorite! The reaction I get from this cutie pie is amazing every time. I can't wait to try out this adorable crochet outfit on some new babies too!

This little girl has some of the prettiest bright blue eyes! And look at that professional modeling!

This one is of the whole family. They all look so happy!

This is our little tutu and the matching ballerina baby headband in action.

And another just adorable little pose!

Calling all 2012 Seniors

Fairytree Photography is launching its Senior Ambassador program this year. We're looking for 2012 Seniors in the following highschools, Franklin County,  Coffee County, Tullahoma, and Warren County.
What is a Senior Ambassador? A Senior Ambassador is someone who gets their senior pictures taken by Fairytree Photography and shows the pictures off to their friends, talks about us, and encourages other seniors to book their senior sessions with us.
What does a Senior Ambassador receive? Our Senior Ambassadors will receive a free senior session, in a location or locations of their choice depending on the area, with unlimited clothing changes (within reason girls). In addition for every booking referral we receive, the ambassador receives a $10.00 credit good towards additional sessions, prints, and other Fairytree products. In addition the referral also gets a free 8x10 with their booking. Referrals must have your referring card to count.
How do you sign up? You must first be a 2012 senior in one of the above highschools. Then you must be totally psyched about getting a free session and sharing your pictures with your friends. Got that covered? Ok, now send us an email with all your info, name, age, school, extra curricular activities, do you have facebook, a blog?, and anything else you want to share with us that will help us make a decision. Next add on two pictures or the links where we can find two pictures of yourself. They don't have to be pro pics, just ones that showcase who you are. Lastly and this is very important, if you're under 18 and you probably are, you have to get mom and dad on board. If they say no, then no, you can't be our ambassador. It's probably the most important step of all.
Now who are we interested in? Young men and woman who consider themselves outgoing with alot of opportunities to share their senior pictures with other prospective clients. Seniors who are excited about their images because that excitement is going to show.
Thanks everyone, I look forward to meeting and working with you.

Brothers are Forever

This March I got to hang out with a couple of great families and capture the intricities of their relationship. The first of these were the Hill brothers. These great boys were getting their pictures taken in honor of their upcoming birthdays. While 3 years apart their actual birthdays are separated by less than a week. The elder was celebrating not only his 16th birthday but also his brand new driving permit. The younger was just crossing over into the threshold of being a teenager, 13. Big important birthdays in the lives of young men. Of course dealing with teenage boys was fraught with a few unusual problems, god forbid you ask them to touch at all, and looking at each other, no way. So as usual I wanted to share my five favorite pictures from their shoot.
This picture is perfect in so many ways, the light almost glows around him and you can see his reflection in the sunroof of his car.

This is one of my absolute favorite pictures of all time. Everything just seems to fit perfectly.

This was the older brother's favorite picture. What a car, right.

This was the younger brother's favorite picture.

I love this set-up. I know the boys, being boys, probably don't like the whole thing very much, but their mother sure did.

We're Looking for Models!

...of newborn twins! That's right, Fairytree Photography is looking for one special mother out there who would like a free newborn session with her twins! We're looking to spice up our portfolio with some adorable twin images and are willing to giveaway one free session to a lucky mother. In order to qualify for this unique opportunity you must either be pregnant with twins at the moment, or have just given birth to twins. We need a set of beautiful newborn twins under two weeks of age at the time of the photoshoot. The reason for this small window of opportunity is simple, newborns begin to become more active, awake, and aware after two weeks, not to mention losing a little bit of their elasticity which makes certain poses a challenge. We will travel anywhere in the Coffee county area for free and the immediate surrounding vicinity. Outside of this area a small mileage fee will be assessed, just enough to cover our gas usage for the day and no more. Remember this shoot is free! The mother will receive a high-resolution cd of her edited images and a print release form, allowing them to take the cd to her developer of choice from Wal-greens to Wal-mart and everywhere in between. In addition the mother will have the opportunity to purchase high-quality prints, birth announcement cards, and other products from us at a discount, but is in no way under any obligation to do so.
So if you or someone you know is currently expecting twins or has very recently given birth please email us at fairytreephotography@gmail.com . Please include your name, location, due date, and the names and sexes of your new bundles of joy. We look forward to hearing from you soon! Alternately you can live your name and email address in a comment underneath this post and we will contact you. When we have our models we will announce them here.

Ms. S - A Quick Peek under the Sheets

We had another wonderful boudoir shoot this month with Ms. S. This boudoir session was an anniversary gift for the man she loves. Ms. S was a dream to work with! She was extremely intuitive and one of my most prepared clients. It was truly a pleasure to work with her. I've chosen these two pics to share with you at the moment because they don't reveal our mystery woman's identity.
Get a Grip - look at those thigh highs!

This silhouette came out perfectly. You can even see the curls in her hair.
